The desired tightening torque is set by selecting and using the corresponding gear (1 to 4), and then selecting the desired power from 1 to 15. See the diagram of tightening torques and corresponding settings. Setting of gear ratios and power is fool-proved by recessed controls. The DA1 allows for two additional special settings that provide extra power to safely loosen difficult screws (non-controlled tightening torque).
