Ohtake-Root Kogyo: Summary
OHTAKE was founded in 1968 in Iwate, Japan. It manufactures two different products, "Treadmills" and "Automatic Screw Feeders".
OHTAKE has been selling treadmills since its foundation. In 1992, it acquired a manufacturing license for medical treadmills and manufactures and sells rehabilitation treadmills for the disabled or elderly and sports treadmills for professional athletes. They also have a large number of custom made performance treadmills for measurement purposes in companies and laboratories.
Another business of OHTAKE is "Automatic screw feeding". They started manufacturing and selling automatic screw feeders in 1996 and now sell to more than 40 countries worldwide.
OHTAKE automatic screw feeders use a horizontal rail system that supports a wide range of screw materials and shapes, different working styles and workpiece sizes. This unique mechanism and advanced technology can contribute significantly to the efficiency of your production line.
Automatic bolt tighteners dramatically increase the speed of bolt tightening. Thanks to their ease of use and the use of the world's first interchangeable rail mechanism, these devices allow you to work with screws of different diameters and formats.
Even if changing the workpiece requires different bolt diameters, all you have to do is swap in a new rail. There is no need to replace the existing mechanism itself, which reduces the cost of the equipment. The horizontal rail mechanism offers fast and stable bolt feeding, a highly versatile design and ease of use in OHTAKE automatic bolt feeders, ensuring a highly efficient bolt tightening job.
OHTAKE has established a local subsidiary OHTAKE USA (New Jersey) in 2019 and OHTAKE EUROPE in 2020 to introduce their automatic screw feeders.
OHTAKE's manufacturing plant prides itself on using high quality materials (which are also used in the production of medical equipment) as well as sound management practices. Precision performance, high operational safety and easy-to-repair design: the OHTAKE machines are the epitome of Japanese quality.
